Wood harvested from North American forests follows some of the world’s best forest management practices which have for decades provided net forest growth.
At Spring Hill Pallet, sustainability begins with forest certification. Independent third-party assessments ensure that companies Spring Hill Pallet sources lumber from, are operating in accordance with the principles of sustainable forest management. The socio-economic and environmental contributions of forests are valuable considerations for Spring Hill Pallet and its partners.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a global not-for-profit organization that sets the standard for responsibly managed forests. Spring Hill Pallet relies on the FSC certification to ensure that we are sourcing our lumber from responsible sources.
Spring Hill Pallet is also proud to source most of our lumber from First Nation owned sawmills or companies.
